The reason that it is so scary is because you think that you are doing well, climbing all the ladders, getting up to the top, then suddenly, out of nowhere a snake jumps out at you and you slide back down.

Seriously... its very scary.

Even worse would be Snakes & Snakes......

The most scary game I have ever played was... Alone in the dark, the first one released in 1992. Remember playing through the game together with a friend back then, very atmospheric and scary.
