Potential false flag at the Olympics

Food for thought, this is by no means a prediction and if anything happens there won't be any "I told you so's", but I don't want to ignore real possibilities. The Canadian media has been very vocal discussing security at the games lately, and Al Quaeda and Bin Laden seem to have been put in the forefront in the western media lately. Whether or not you think the idea that 9/11 was an inside job is ridiculous, The U.S. has done false flags before, such as the Gulf of Tonkin incident which committed them to Vietnam and they planned another one with Operation Northwoods, which they didn't implement.

This is a good article (even from a sensationalist website) that lists a lot of signs and warnings that may or may not be meaningless. To ignore the possibility is to ignore history, and while I hope nothing happens, spreading the word and raising awareness among those who don't think along the same lines as 'conspiracy theorists' (getting the idea into the mainstream) could make them rethink their plans.

whilst conspiracy theorists are amongst the mose bizarre people out there, anyone who doesn't think that 9/11 and subsequent 'war on terror' haven't been manipulated by Governments to limit personal freedoms and introduce draconian regulations is almost as deluded and/or childishly naive.

Thanks Flaffer, PSB themselves comment on the increasing police state in two recent songs. While they haven't said anything about their thoughts on shadowy elite power, the lyric 'one world, one reason...' makes me wonder if Neil doesn't suspect more than he lets on publicly. I mean, its not that much of a stretch to ascertain that the new limits on freedoms and hordes of cameras are more than an accident, like some inevitable evolutionary bump. Its all about control, and why would a president or prime minister care about limiting freedoms when their terms in office are limited and unpredictable?

Conspiracy theorists are absolutely nuts; every article on infowars has hundreds of comments from bible thumpers screaming about the end days and militants encouraging everyone to lock and load. I'm actually more comfortable with the mainstreamers who call me nuts; I can identify with them better: noone wants to entertain these thoughts, its safer to watch CNN and think flag pins and Anna Nicole Smith are the important things. But I'm in the middle, I ask questions. I don't fully believe 9/11 was an inside job, but I don't believe it was terrorists. There is no perfect argument or evidence for either side. But I notice two main things: 1) they use disasters to their advantage so well its suspicious and 2) people dismiss hard questions too easily. I get two loony pictures as a response *shrugs* This is an enlightened and educated society? I ask rhetorically, am I crazy? That article was well written and researched, and the historical precedence exists as hard fact. And a tin foil hat is a sufficient response? Don't respond if you don't want to, but the content in this thread warrants less ignorance.

Bill Hicks: "This is politics in America: 'I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.' 'I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.' 'Hey wait, there's one guy holding both puppets!' 'Go back to bed America, your government is in control. Watch some more American Gladiators and get fat and stupid.'"

oh geeeez, the police state government in control thing again.

IF ONLY. the western part of the globe is the most PC infected soft babied culture you can find in this world.
for cripes sake we went to war and changed the name of our war because it offended muslim sensibilitys.

anyways as far as public opinion control,I think it was C.S lewis who put it best.
it is only the intelligentsia that are the dupes of the views of the left or the right in the newspapers as they have a stake in the matter in their minds, the common man is concerned only with the sports page which is mostly true.

besides, technically those that complain about the puppetmasters are themselves a form of puppetmaster. they are doing the same thing.

Can you explain what you mean about complainers ultimately being puppetmasters; I don't understand.

I do understand that quote though, and it makes a certain kind of sense. But its pitfall mirrors Lewis himself, ignorance being bliss. The common man has no stakes in government? Just because he doesn't care doesn't mean he won't feel the consequences, its just that he won't understand why they're happening. And ultimately it implies not caring about government has no consequences. Right, only reading the sports section is the key to a healthy democracy. As a result, noone understands issues anymore and everyone is focused on buzz words: trivial issues hyped by the media which is owned by a handful of wealthy elitists. You'd have to admit that generally a well informed and well educated populous is against wealthy corporations interests. The rich have always been greedy in history, so don't tell me human nature has changed because we fly planes and talk on cell phones and have become more civilized. It makes logical sense that they'd use their power and influence (the media being one example) to reinforce and strengthen their own position.

And why did you go to war again? Changing names and all the politically correct bs reinforces my argument, as its one example of the stupidity infecting regular people. Only people with an inferiority complex and lower IQ get offended: they have more to be defensive about. PC feeds on this in a vicious circle. And its one of the reasons there was no revolution against those who have gone to war for monetary gain. Who cares what they call the war in the middle east, its a distraction, what matters is why they did it. Control and money.
