They did play well last night but they were only playing against 8 men. I couldn't believe how poor Milan were. How long they been that crap? Those three muppets up front thought they were playing 5 a-side, where they had to stay in the oppositions half all game. Terrible, half arsed effort.

Milan were embarrassing. That's what happens when you become a retirement home for international footballers.

Wasn't John Lukic at the Munich air crash in his mother's womb? Or is that an urban myth?

Steve Ogrizovic's maiden aunt was the mystery assassin of JFK who was on the grassy verge.

Sorry if it offends you that I am about to meet one of the best footballers to ever grace the English game and I chose to post about it. Didn't mean to offend you there!

What is happening to this place? It seems to now be dominated by a few people who act like vigilante moderators having a go whenever they feel like it at people who post things that doesn't interest them with a few others that turn up from time to time with the sole intention of offending others and simply winding them up, I mean look at this guy above, A typical example of somebody who likes to dish it out but cry's out like a baby when he get's it back! Incredible!

You're not offending me, just boring me to tears.JSDOUVRES wrote:Sorry if it offends you that I am about to meet one of the best footballers to ever grace the English game and I chose to post about it. Didn't mean to offend you there!
Although that "one of the best footballers to ever grace the English game" line did make me laugh, so have some kudos for that.
By the way, any time you fancy seeing the European Cup from that "Barmy night in Barcelona", feel free to pop into the Anfield trophy room.JSDOUVRES wrote:You're a Liverpool fan arn't [sic] you? , Murkeyside, Just [sic] about says it all.
Well, quite apart from the fact I didn't actually have a go at you, anyone who namedrops will get short shrift from me. Especially when the name they're dropping is a superfluous non-entity like Joel Cantona.JSDOUVRES wrote:What is happening to this place? I cried like a baby? Where?JSDOUVRES wrote:I mean look at this guy above, A [sic] typical example of somebody who likes to dish it out but cry's [sic] out like a baby when he get's [sic] it back! Incredible!

Well, Joel Cantona was a footballer in his own right you know and if you made an effort to read what I had written properly then maybe you wouldn't have seen it necessary to, in your own words "get a short shrift from me"!
Who are you exactly? A man living in the past it sounds like, a lot of dust now in the Anfield trophy room I imagine and judging by their performance Thursday against a very poor Lille side, so that won't be changing soon!
So Eric is not one of the best players to ever grace the English game? Because he didn't play for Liverpool I suppose! Sorry to say that your average football fan in the UK would certainly have to give him credit for what he achieved and what he gave to the English game and as for the namedrops thing, what the f*** has that got to do with you? If you don't like it then f*** off and watch a Liverpool video from the eighties when they actually did something decent or something!
I am free to post about what I want so just mind your own business and have a go at somebody else in another forum or something. Seems to be what bitter Liverpool fans are best at these days.
I mean please feel free to talk more about your encounter with John Lukic's unkle, after all he was one of the best goalkeepers English football had ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wasn't he?
