Hint needed: how to sell on Ebay

Hi there. I need your hints and opinions about how to sell stuff (records in particular) on ebay. Thank you in advance.

Since I live in Italy, I have put for sale some stuff on ebay.it
But, when I am on ebay.com and I look for the items I have out for sale, I don't find them.
So I think that my items don't have total access to everyone to be listed, bidded and sold.
If I put them for sale on ebay.com there is no problem, but I have problems about "shipment info" since ebay.com means that I am shipping from US.
I have (just for example) put for sale the same item on ebay.it and ebay.com
From ebay.it I see both of them; from ebay.com I only see the one for sale on ebay.com; from other local ebay (.de or .co.uk) I don't see them.
Is there any way of getting the widest audience for the items I am selling?
Any hint?

There's an option to ship to other countries - I think that allows those chosen countries to be able see the auction. I certainly have had enough people from outside the UK contact me and/or bid on items I have listed, so it must work.

Another tip - list for 10 days starting on a Thursday night. That way you get two weekends for people to see it, and the auction finishes on a Sunday night when more people are likely to be at home to bid,

The only thing you have to put up with more if listing for 10 days are the stupid, impatient 'what's your 'Buy it now' price?' questions, and other almost identical variants of the same question. It's also often made even worse when your item already clearly has bids, so you couldn't add a 'Buy it now' price if you wanted to. There are some very stupid people on eBay.

Thank you people for your hints.
I thought it was easier to sell something on ebay.
For example, I've put a lot of promo stuff of different artists, but noone bought it. Then, I was lucky enough to sell a couple of italian CD singles I thought their value was around 10-15 Euros, and I sold them for very very much more (80 Euros).
But if the items unsold are too many, I don't have enough profit to go on selling.
My idea was that almost everything could have a buyer, but I was wrong.
I have a list of hundreds of records to sell, included promos, japan, metal, italian music, etc, but if I sell 10% of what I am listing there is not the real deal.

With the worldwide option the probabilities are much higher, I will test it and in the next couple of weeks I will decide if going on or not.
The only alternative is selling only in the day of "free fees" that ebay has every now and then.

There are some very stupid people on eBay.

And sellers. But you have to remember that many of these people are new to ebay. But if they have 1784 feedback and they ask, then they are dense, yes.

Even if an item has bids, the seller can still end the listing early and sell it to someone. Do it off eBay, and you save yourself 10% in eBay fees.

Aye, but removing it if it has bids is morally wrong - you should offer a 'Buy it now' price from the start if you want one. Also if eBay found out you took an item down and sold it off eBay you'd be in trouble.

I am right about stupid people on eBay though. Doesn't matter whether they're newbies or not, some of the thickest, most ignorant idiots in the world congregate on eBay. I list for my employer and have personally probably done 500 auctions now. Some of the questions you get are painfully, embarrassingly thick and nearly every time the question needn't be asked if the description is read and more than two brain cells employed before hitting the 'Contact seller' button.
