And they would find it pretentious to say something like "our thoughts are with you..." because what good is that gonna do?
Of course everyone's thoughts are with the people who died in Madrid, it's obvious. But you don't hear them issuing statements when there's an earthquake or floods or anything else going on either.
It doesn't do any good.

Personally, I hated it when they were forced (by certain aimoo members) to post a statement on the official PSB website about why they hadn't commented on 9/11.
There's nothing I hate more than pop stars thinking they have to be seen to commentate on every bit of world affairs. OK, well, music journalists too
