which BTW I am loving the demo version so much now. why he didnt use his vocal performance on the demo is beyond me. and its clear to me the song would have been better had a more stripped down arrangement been used also.

Amazing enters the single chart at not-that-amazing number four. The album indeed has an uphill struggle ahead of it. The Uncut did a pretty convincing review of it and gave it two stars: 14 songs and 70 minutes of meandering mid-tempo tracks from George sounds like a patience-testing composition.

He's a talented songwriter, but he seems to take himself far too seriously these days.

The only really amazing thing about the album is that it hasn't leaked yet. It's released in three days -- you'd expect everyone to have heard it three months ago!
