Human League new single, tour and album 2010/11
The name of the new album is Credo. It is the band's ninth studio album.
It will not be released until next year, and the release date is not yet known.
TOUR
The tour will be called The Night People Tour 2010.
Some new songs from the album will be played on the tour. The advert for the tour will run in Q, Mojo and Uncut magazines next month and they will be in the shops around 28th September.
SINGLES
The first single is called Night People. It will be released before the tour, but again the release date has not yet been set.
There will also be a second single before the album.

Night People is a good title for a dance song.
Looking over their discography they've got a one word title album thing going on like the Pet Shop Boys.

The Human League have always been one of those bands I've only taken a casual interest in.
Will probably try and catch a tour date. It is The Human League after all.

Night People is brilliant. A fascinating mixture of I Monster's slightly leftfield production and Phil Oakey's equally leftfield lyric writing, and at the same time a great pop song.

What is FAR more interesting than the fact Human League are touring, is that Performance are supporting them!
Performance are great - they're from Manchester and have been compared regularly to the likes of Human League, The Killers and New Order.

I'll most likely be getting the new album when it comes out.

Performance. Didn't they do 'Surrender'? That's a good song. Sounds more like Soft Cell to me than any of those bands you have mentioned.
Hello my name is Neil Tennant and I'm Chris Lowe and we're of the Pet Shop Boys.

That's them, Ragga Twin... though they sound nothing like Soft Cell to me.
Unlike Soft Cell, I could listen to Performance over and over (and do!)... that Soft Cell greatest hits CD on the other hand is likely to stay on the CD rack gathering dust for decades.

Had a listen to Night People the other day on Spotify. It's rather good, very uptempo.

Sorry, just had a listen to it and thought it was really poor fare. Very samey throughout with no stand out tracks.
That's it, it's all over. We're out of here. What a Legacy! (c) Chris Lowe 2009

Midweeks suggest that Credo will be top 20 at the weekend. Duran's new album is currenty no. 6.
