Do people actually read this magazine? It's like the trade journal of Britpop. Four Radiohead albums, three by Muse, all the usual favourites (Oasis tick, Artic Monkeys tick, Screamadelica tick). For the love of God.....

I buy Q magazine now and again, there's some good albums on that list but also some predictable ones that they typically 'have' to include. (e.g. Oasis...some good singles but their albums had alot of filler)

This is the reason I no longer look at any music magazines, including Q (I had a subscription back in 2001-2003 - if anyone wants to buy those let me know, they are collecting dust). It's all so staid and tepid and predictable. I'm a Killers fan, but Hot Fuss, as an album, is not even their best album. I'm not a huge Muse fan, but those albums are very good for what they are. The list is just a solid block of mainstream rock though. Where is even a Madonna album? Jesus. And what am I supposed to gather from such a list as this? Was I supposed to not know that any album in this list was not great? Was I supposed to be that much under a rock that I hadn't heard of these albums yet? This serves no purpose.

There are even a couple albums on the list that I enjoy listening to. Yet, there are none that I "love". A Rush of Blood is a fantastic album, and yet, it's not a personal album. Perhaps because such albums and bands end up in this list, that is why. I loved the Strokes album back in 2001, but not loved in a PSB way. I got rid of my My Bloody Valentine album. I could never sit through it. F-ing vacuum cleaner in the background.

How boring would it be to make lists of PSB albums like this. OK fans lets vote on the Top 3 Albums. And the winners, every time are:
