Re: RIP Technotrancemix
I heard this yesterday and i´m very sad for this.
Met him in person at the days of the Potemkin premier in London.
He bought lots of my collection back in 2003+.
He is the one, who "organized" the psb tracks "only love" and "motoring".
The psb community says THANK YOU.
RIP

Did you ever walk on a stormy night...

Damn that's a shame. Far too young to die. His family must be heartbroken right now, and my deepest sympathies are with them. Like others I remember him and his vast collection from the dotmusic days and met him a couple of times at Tower Records and Potemkin. It's often said that you should enjoy life as you never know how long you have. This certainly underlines that sentiment...

Sad times like these, make you wonder what has happened to other regulars, who have suddenly disappeared.
Re: RIP Technotrancemix
Sad news. I remember we had some fun chats back in 2002, he was always very entertaining, a bit controversial but still very likeable. I got the sense he was a really nice person IRL.

Chris was alright. Most of us probably had squabbles with him but he dished it out and took it back at the same time. Never seemed to sulk when he was getting it both barrels. It seemed he was very generous as well. Forums and their communities last a long time when you have members like Chris.

Incredibly shocked and sad to hear it. So young, damn. Best wishes to his family. We all "talked" to him at some point online, some of you had met him.. mighty real, this happening. RIP Technotrancemix. Sigh.

I used to be in touch with him years ago, discussing about PSB records and rarities.
He was so kind to me.
Ciao Chris

I wonder if it's possible to put together a little booklet of printed out pages from threads Chris started, or was active in over the years... Or maybe just print out his post history, if that's possible, to give to his family. It might be valuable to his son one day, when he wonders what his father was like. Afterall, it's how we all got to know Chris. It was through the expression of opinions and ideas in this forum that we came to know and and form our perceptions of each other.. and it's clear how well loved and appreciated Chris was among us.
Just an idea. What do others think? Would anybody who is in contact with his girlfriend Nicole or his family like to do this?

Oh I dunno. Maybe it's not such a good idea.
