What do your mom and dad think of PSB or ure PSB obsession?

My dad quite likes psb, and so does my sisters. My mum thinkgs they are dull and boring and that all songs sound the same. My girlfriend however, loves them

My mum loves them - particularly It's a sin. My dad used to like them but then he heard they're gay and lost all his interest in them. Although he still likes New York City boy and It's a sin. I don't think their sexuality's the reason - he loves George Michael, for example, but the fact that I love them and their music passionately. Probably he got very jealous about it.

But it's a bit hard to remember that when your parents are playing it so loud you can hear it upstairs...

My mum isn't too bothered about pop music in general. My dad is more of a guitar man, but he recognises that PSB are good, intelligent songwriters.

During my late teens (late 80s) my Dad used to like the PSBs. My mum didn't really have any interest in pop music. The other day my Dad asked "are the PSBs still making records?" "Yes" I replied. "Good for them" he said.

He's in his early 70s now so I doubt he listens to radio 1 anymore.

My wife can't stand the PSBs and everyone I mention them to sneers, so I have to keep my "dirtly little secret" to myself now. ...and share it with the good people on here, of course.

My mum likes It's A Sin , but doesn't care about PSB in general .

My dad can't understand how the hell can I listen to "those talentless homosexuals with their extremely lousy singer and boring songs" . My dad is a typical USSR-raised man ( which explains his evil and embarrassing homophobia ) , who grew up on Heavy Metal and The Beatles . Maybe this explains why I turned out to be so anti-Beatles , AC/DC and Deep Purple ...
