Pet Shop Boys & Olympics on Youtube

#1 Post by Nickname »

I think we have to download the performance of PSB with the Olympics ("Winner", "Westend Girls" and "Go West") and upload it on Youtube as soon as we can.

If we put in the title "Olympics parade" or "Olympics celebration" with "Pet Shop Boys", many people will look for it on Youtube, not Pet Shop Boys fans only.

There is a video on BBC News that has Winner only. Unfortunately they have missed the Introduction (my favourite part of the whole performance)but is still great quality.
I've shared on my Facebook, but I'm pretty hopeless with these things and don't know how to upload from BBC website or FB onto Youtube!! Perhaps some of you can do it?

Yes, but it's not the full performance with "Winner". The only track from the new album with all the Olympics getting on the stage.

You mean that this performance was on Paralympics? I thought they only did 2 minutes of "West Ends Girls" on the "real" Olympics.

Something tells me we're going to see Winner being used a lot as the backing track to many videos of the Olympics now that the Gamemakers have finished their tours of duty... :D

(bumping an old thread here, sorry :-P)
For some reason I have missed this whole performance on TV. I learned about it thanks to Chris and Graham's PSB podcast so I did a search online. Obviously, the videos are nowhere to be found anymore. Can anyone help me out here to find these TV broadcasts?
