The End Of The World 2012 mix

#1 Post by York Minster »

I'm going to waste my 5000th post on the Mayan Prophecy. Only two months until the world ends. As a teenager I was a night-owl; listening to Art Bell all night long in the 1990's, his wack-job guests ranting about this date. It's honestly not been played up much in the media in the US...just yet.

So, this is basically a thread where people can say: oh hodge podge I'm a secular humanist, and then glenn can come in and say "well, you never know".

Here's hoping for a big catastrophe  (I love a good show)
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

In an ever-changing world, it's comforting to know that some things always remain the same.

I would LOVE a zombie apocalypse. it seems like the kind of apocalypse thats dooable. figure with an alien invasion, their technology is going to win out. in a natural nature style disaster, you cant escape the scale of natural disasters such as earthquakes etc etc.

but the dead coming back to life....just give me my girlfriend, 2 daughters a couple shotguns and a fortified RV!

I listen to Coast to Coast AM and while the whack-jobs remain, now none of them are saying Dec 21, 2012 is the end of the world; instead it's the beginning of hard times, the beginning of a new golden age, the cosmic odometer rolling over, etc. The current host George Noorey is fond of telling all who'll listen that Dec 22 nothing will be different. I think the Y2K false- alarm convinced all the psuedo-freaks who make a living off this s**t that there's more money to be made elsewhere.
"Alien disclosure" has become the new Dec 21, 2012 amongst the paranormal set.

I guess it's a good thing that the world will end before we see a Romney presidency.
