Electronic - Reissue and Remaster

A very peculiar track listing. Claiming edits as unreleased...does not attract me. The use of CD space is hardly optimal either.

I'd love them to release a physical version of 2007's remastered edition of "Electronic". There was a nice second Domino dancing-disc with b-sides and remixes devoted directly to 1990-1992 era.

An odd tracklist indeed. Happy the single version of Until the end of time will get a proper release. I wonder if the plan is to release different versions of all their rarities spread across the remasters of all three albums, thus incentivizing the fanbase to buy all of the discs and not just the most popular first album?

Odd mix of stuff. "Electronic" is one of my all time favorites, but there's no way I'd buy this. Nothing that was truly "unreleased".

TOP TIP:- Record companies. Get middle aged men throwing money at you for things they already have by putting "remastered" on Cds they bought 15 years ago...

Strange that they've kept GAWI in with the main album, even though it wasn't included in the original release.

It was on the European release. My CD has it.

I didn't think it was included in any versions until the 1994 remaster. I think it should be on disc 2.

I bought mine when it came out, trust me. Actually I put it on now. Don't think I'll bother with the reissue though.

Singles never were a best-selling format in Scandinavia, so indeed it makes sense that GAWI was on the album.

That is one of the stupidest reissue/remaster packages I have ever seen. I've been waiting for more news about this for a long time. Seeing that tracklisting... I'm not sure I can be bothered now.

Maybe when it comes down to £4.99 or something.

Is it a single version from the back when... though? It looks like all these are new edits, perhaps by some teaboy at EMI. Or perhaps Marr or Sumner decided they wanted to re-edit the tracks (still a bad idea). The two "Twisted Tenderness" mixes seem to be the two genuine rarities in this package (although they obviously don't belong with the debut album).

There are surely more remixes of UTEOT the vaults, though. Like a full length "Soulboy Collective" mix (probably not essential).

LOL! Not far from the truth, and the remasters often just play louder than the original and occasionally have new errors introduced. Some remastered albums sound awful when turned up as you find the sound distorts, whereas the original wouldn't when cranked up.

LOL! Not far from the truth, and the remasters often just play louder than the original and occasionally have new errors introduced. Some remastered albums sound awful when turned up as you find the sound distorts, whereas the original wouldn't when cranked up.

David Bowie's '1. Outside', 'Earthling' and 'Hours...' anyone? Pointless waste of time and money. Although the bonus discs were a damn sight better than this paranoid schizophrenic nonsense of a reissue.

I'm really looking forward to this as I do not have the tracks on the second disc. Electronic is a great album.
