I think George has suffered from a bit of a backlash. I'd have thought it would have been much higher than that. Shocked at how well Kate bush has done though.

I love White Light, am also surprised it hasn't charted higher but it seems lately all the big acts from the past are struggling, which is very sad.

Song to the Siren is one of my favourites, impossible to screw up, but I think Bryan Ferry's and Sinead O'Connor's versions are the best:

His new single is terrible as are most of his singles released over the last 10 years or so.

That's your opinion.
While I think that they don't come close to the perfect pop songs he wrote in the 80s and early 90s, some of this last singles were not bad at all.

The things he does to knock off a greatest hits album. Sucking off a freak cop in LA, poor driving, now trying a Colt Seavers and just leaping out the car, then the constant 'sorry everyone'. Poor George.
