Don't really need this as their artwork has neither been great or outstanding since 2006. Unfortunately, it's become rather uninspired.
   :eh:
I hope that isn't interpreted as "it shouldn't be published", but only as "great if there will be one, I just don't buy it because I don't need it".

There can never be enough (good-quality) PSB products. Right now, there are too few, especially in books as we really have nothing! We really need another book, and it should be more in-depth than Catalogue.

- PSB staying healthy and active for at least the next 15 years
- PSB touring in Finland often
- A new album in every other year :D
Totally agree!

1. A tour of Australia, including at least one gig in my living room. ;)
2. Relentless remastered and re-released.
3. Good health, long life, and neverending inspiration for both Neil and Chris.
And everything about tonight feels right and so young
And anything I'd want to say out loud will be sung
It's in the music...

Israel is continuing to take Palestinian land to build apartments.
This is more then theft, it technically is genocide. It has been going
on for 60 years and is the big problem stopping world peace.

We are trying hard to use peaceful methods such as a boycot to get
Israel to make peace. Stopping genocide and working for world peace
should be commended.

Neil's statement that everything is fine is clearly about concert profits.
One extra concert is clearly more important then world peace, let
other artists make the sacrifice. PSB need profits from one more concert.

So in 2014 I would like PSB to revise their attitude or at least make a statement
for Israel to leave Palestinian land and make peace.

That some fans here see people like me who have worked for peace for
forty years as "bitter extremists" is also pretty disappointing. It does tend to
vindicate the terrorists who say that peacfull methods dont work.

The common man on the streets in Israel or Palestine does not decide what their governments do. The government and politicians determine actions they take and policies they may have. PSB and other artists do not tour countries as a form of endorsing the government, their policies, or their politicians. They are there to bring music to the common people, who have only an extremely limited say (e.g. the right to vote) in what actions their governments may take. Their playing or not playing has no effect whatsoever on relations between those countries. How many people there even know who they are, I have to wonder. Very few, I suspect. In any geographical area where there is conflict, there are still the common people, touched greatly by the conflict and involved, but not having much say in what goes on, right or wrong. Music concerts are a great way of uniting people and enriching lives through art. They are generally not politically motivated.

I may go along with a musicians right to be entertainers and not be political but that is not PSB's position.

It was Neil who made a statement that there is no problem inside Israel and it was clearly a lie, to make money. Hardly the altruistic musician.

Also they are taking a political stand by boycotting a boycott that others are supporting. I am not the only one disgusted by this.

Evil tends to entrap you into being a unwitting participant and that is what has happened. PSB are no longer outside it, they are now participants and profiting from it.

I also disagree that people are (or should be) pawns of their government. The freedom we have in Western countries is because others have stood up for and died for the freedom we have today.  Some of us who have stood up to Israel have been murdered for it.  You may not understand, you don't have to fight, but at least respect those who have given their life for freedom.

My New Years wish is on topic, that in 2014,  PSB retract from the position they took on Israel and we don't have to be ashamed of being PSB fans or even worse,  pretending not to know.

"I don't agree with this comparison of Israel to apartheid-era South Africa," Tennant wrote. "It's a caricature. Israel has (in my opinion) some crude and cruel policies based on defense; it also has universal suffrage and equality of rights for all its citizens, both Jewish and Arab… In apartheid-era South Africa, artists could only play to segregated audiences; in Israel anyone who buys a ticket can attend a concert."
He did not say "there is nothing wrong in Israel", far from it.
He did say that that the gig wasn't segregated.

It would take about a week to get to the gig through thw checkpoints though.

If PSB boycotting Israel is gonna have an effect on the government, well good but I seriously don't expect that to happen. Otherwise all that will happen with the boycott is a lot of disappointed fans.

Depends on what is close to their heart. A boycott of Russia is more likely for obvious reasons.

I also don't imagine Neil and Chris to be the type to do a Gary Barlow, and make a documentary about our troops in Afghanistan or the starving children in Africa to air on Christmas.

I am sorry for those upset by this. Not my intention. :(

My NY wish is that Neil makes some gesture (any gesture) for peace in 2014.

They could insist that 50, or 5 or even 1 Palestinian is allowed into the concert.

Something we could be proud of.
