I hadn't realised the guy's generosity. Restores your faith in humanity.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Yes, it is my favourite song by George Michael. I've been watching the video several times since the news of his death.Markpro wrote:Praying for time is a fabulous track, lyrically brilliant. RIP GeorgePod wrote:Shocked beyond belief - 53???? 2016 serves up another kick in the teeth at its end.
His 'Listen Without Prejudice' album is immense.
RIP...
David Bowie, Prince, Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Leonard Cohen, and now Rick Parfitt of Status Quo on Christmas Eve followed by George Michael on Christmas Day... 2016 has not been a pleasant year for famous rock stars!
But of course Keith Richards and Ozzy Osbourne are still going on! And I find it unbelievable that Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis are all still alive - but 2016 isn't over yet...

There's a Forbes article that says that Michael made €290 million from "Last Christmas" residuals, approx. 9 million a year! Unbelievable.
"John 3:16."

Well, anyone who could write the following lyrics set against sleigh bells and disco synths deserves €290 million...
"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
But the very next day, you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special"

Considering how often it's played every Christmas I wouldn't be surprised.alig wrote:There's a Forbes article that says that Michael made €290 million from "Last Christmas" residuals, approx. 9 million a year! Unbelievable.

I know it has been a little while now but am I the only one "still" in shock?
I cannot get over it to be honest!
