No. Too pretentious.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

I do. I love Arcade Fire, and I'm really excited for the album next month.

In fact, I did, until they teased the second track from the album, 'Creature Comforts'

Modern music sucks. On the other hand, I've had a great time using my retro DJ guise as an excuse to find and explore music from the 70's, 80's and 90's that I didn't know quite so well beforehand. Frankly, this was well worth the effort, and I have no regrets whatsoever that I've paid zero attention to any recent music.

yeah its true...the sameness is getting a bit annoying.

But having said that..some of my fave tunes this year were (atleast as per my playlist counts)

Out of my mind - st etienne
supercut - lorde
strangers - singrid
words - jasmine thompson
Cola - Camelphat (probably the best club hit of the year)
Feel it Still - Portugal
Love - Lana Del Ray
Bad Liar - Selena Gomez (who would have thought!)
Wear Nothing - Dagny (she also had a delicious cover of the classic More More More)

edit...

how did i forget the Super Version of Left to my own devices

For me this was the best musical surprise of 2017. A fabulous instrumental retro synth blaster.

Happy 2018 to all!

Hmmm, pretty hard question as for me)
I teach secondary students, as well as undergraduates. I used to be a writer for an educational magazine and English instructor in write my essay now, but now I’m teaching full-time, helping many of my private students acquire the skills to create the most impressive essays that will not only get them the best grades, but actually give them the necessary communication skills they need to succeed.
