World Cup 2018
The BBC intro music to the World Cup sounds very PSB to me. Anyone else think the same?

Hmm, I know what you mean, but I wouldn’t say very PSB.

It's got a bit of a PSB vibe to it...but what was on my mind was which PSB song (and at what point in the tournament) will be used as some sort of montage music...like "Numb".
Someone at the BBC loves PSB - theres a ton of tracks could be used for that.

Definitely...in fact to my ears it sounds like pretty close to the chord changes for "Vocal" just in a different meter, you can almost sing "its in the music, its in the song" really fast one the drums kick in and it gets goin

I found this information online.
Sigala, who has produced massive hits with Paloma Faith, Craig David and Ella Eyre among many others, reworked Ochi Cheryne - a traditional Russian folk song originally used in the BBC's World Cup marketing campaign – to accompany the opening titles of all of their World Cup shows this summer.

It’s been done by Sigala (a DJ) and it is a reworking of Ochi Cheryne - a traditional Russian folk song.

The player from English team visits the golf club that my brother's wife rules in St Petersburg.
English team is very lucky, their base in St Petersburg.

He scored 2 goals for England against Tunisia on Monday and plays his club football for Tottenham here in England. He’s arguably England’s best striker.

Ok. I try to watch Spain, Germany, Argentina and Brazil. I think one of them will win. Spain is very good. Some teams are not very well like Korea or Arabia... I like Spain-Portigal game, Ronaldo was too good, but Spain had to win, they had so many chances.Parkol wrote:I don't know who this guy, but he liked to play golf there.

One thing is for sure - England won’t win! We’ll get knocked out on penalties in the last 16 or quarter finals as usual!Parkol wrote: Wed 20 Jun 2018, 10:21 pmOk. I don't think so. Who knows... Maybe Japan or Korea will win! Brazil is not perfect, Argentina plays not very well, even with Messi, Germany lost Mexico. Everything is possible. I can tell you that 78% of Russians didn't believe we took more than 1 point... 78%, because Russian team is too weak and people are too angry for that, but they won two games... More than 50% of Russians vote for close all professional football clubs. We won gold medal at Olympics, ice hockey, so we play ice hockey much, much better.Pod wrote: Wed 20 Jun 2018, 11:06 pmOne thing is for sure - England won’t win!
