The upcoming "filming" of the Super Tour @ the Royal Opera House London

#1 Post by psbfannyc »

I wonder what the "filming" on 27 and 28 July 2018 at the Royal Opera House is going to end up being? DVD? Maybe a BBC Special? Something bigger? It's great we will have this captured on film. I can't remember...was the "Electric" show filmed and then shown on a TV Special?

Did you read Annually 2018? They confirmed a DVD/BluRay release.

I didn't yet read the latest issue of Annually. I live in Berlin, but the issue was sent to my other home in Miami and I haven't been back to Miami since it was delivered. Thank you for letting me know. How exciting!

The filming will be so great! The Royal Opera House is so intimate and colourful and with PSB and Es Devlin's work there, it will look fabulous on film!

The Electric tour was filmed and broadcast, I think it was somewhere in South America.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Also at Coachella, can't remember which one had better audio.

The South American channel was, I think, Brazilian SKY TV - it had a longer setlist, so it's the better of the two in my personal opinion.

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

I'm so excited about the upcoming DVD. Can't wait for it, and I'm hoping for a release in December. Maybe Santa puts one under my Christmas tree?

Talking about wishes and dreams ... I also hope that the full concert will be on the DVD - and an audio commentary and some additional goodies like a backstage-documentary would be great. On the former DVDs I enjoyed them very much. They were so funny and entertaining!
