Also, no one has mentioned Neil's book. Is it any good etc? :?: I should have said to those who went - I hope you had a lovely time.
It seems that the signing itself was cancelled on the same day and it was decided to flog lots of pre-signed books instead! The interview with Neil was great and just made up for several grumbles: a really chilly venue, poor sight lines from many seats due to the width of the stage, lack of explanation of the change of format and timings, rude security staff after the event. We were told to clear the pavement outside as mothers would be coming past pushing kids in prams. We saw no such mothers, the staff were moving some of the queue barriers around though! It was so cold afterwards that we didn't wait for Neil outside although I think some fans did.

Uploading the podcast downloaded from iTunes as we speak. Maybe it's just me, but using iTunes on Windows is a complete hassle, I don't want anyone to go through it.

Yes, Neil said „next July“. My first thought was that he has made a mistake there. To wait nine months after the concert film is ready wouldn‘t make sense.

No, he says that it is the film of the Royal Opera House shows from July.

Really? Ok ...
So we can hope for a release around Christmas.

Fantastic interview and thanks for the link. I could listen to him for hours on end. Interesting and very true what he said about the humour of the northwest in relation to the northeast.

Thanks for the link, but my AV (Eset Nod32) really doesn't like that page.

every day it passes by
the day one year on which I'll die
the date is not revealed to me
it keeps its secret patiently

Please correct me, since line 2 is confusing me.
It would be classic Pet Shop Boys for Neil to die on February 29, 2044.

Thank you for letting us know Sandy. That was a shame to hear to be honest! They could have put the heating on. I feel sorry for the fans who also has bad views too. I am so glad that we didn't go. Especially, with no one mentioning the changes and being rude - no need is there? I think they said about the pavement and pram issue to get rid of everyone. It was a shame you couldn't wait for Neil afterwards as it was so cold. It sounds like this was well organised!
