Sorry, this is going to sound really thick - I had the impression that Neil was going to do a book signing too last night. - Did he? Also, no one has mentioned Neil's book. Is it any good etc? I should have said to those who went - I hope you had a lovely time.

It seems that the signing itself was cancelled on the same day and it was decided to flog lots of pre-signed books instead! The interview with Neil was great and just made up for several grumbles: a really chilly venue, poor sight lines from many seats due to the width of the stage, lack of explanation of the change of format and timings, rude security staff after the event. We were told to clear the pavement outside as mothers would be coming past pushing kids in prams. We saw no such mothers, the staff were moving some of the queue barriers around though! It was so cold afterwards that we didn't wait for Neil outside although I think some fans did.

Glad I gave this a miss!

In there is mine, but it won't be delivered to me. My credit card has expired since the time of the pre-order and when they tried to charge it the other day the actual payment was rejected. I contacted support explaining the situation and they told me they cannot amend my order even if a copy was reserved for me... I'm very sad and honestly also disappointed

I wouldn’t worry - I think signed copies will be plentiful.

Next time use Paypal payment for preorders. Funds will be charged immediately after placing order and your order will be guaranteed.

Oh! sorry, to hear this - This happened to me when one of the PSB's albums came out and they had a competition to win a signed one that went with the same order to win it etc.. I had to cancel as our card expired and reorder all over again so, most probably missed out. (I am used to things not going right lol..). I would imagine a fan or two on here maybe able to help you with a signed copy?

Did anyone place an order on the faber&faber website for the special edition?....i did on 28th august,order was received with email confirmation,never heard anything since then,started to wonder why as my credit card hadn't been charged,so i phoned last week and the guy said money will be taken upon dispatch.still no confirmation email this week,so i phoned again this morning.seemingly anyone who placed an order they were then cancelled as the special edition wasn't even available!...why was it even on the website and email confirmation of order!,absolutely livid.shoddy customer service.

It seems as if no one can cope with sending out a signed book anymore. Has any one on here had their book received from "Coles" yet? I have not heard from them - or is it just "too early" days? Sorry, to hear this Pethead 72.
