1) I read this.
2) I'm a man
3) Dreamland is not as good as It's a Sin

You're missing the point..

If Dreamland was a thousand times better than It's A Sin (which I was using as an Imperial example) or indeed the best song they had ever released it wouldn't get anywhere near the higher end of the charts because their days as a big singles chart act are long over regardless of what they release. That, essentially is what Drico, myself and others here have tried to explain to you over recent years.. We would all love to see PSB's have another big singles hit but it's simply not going to happen. It really isn't diificult to understand. Accept it and feel immediately liberated..

Come on!, I know perfectly it's highly difficult for PSB to have another hit. But Drico knows perfectly Super has really good songs but not a masterclass song you can say it could be a Number 1 even in the 80's (Burn and Undertow could be a Top 5 maybe but not The Pop Kids, that's for sure).
But All Over the World, The Sodom and Gomorrah Show and Integral could have been Number 1 in the 80's, even Thursday could have been an easy Top 10.

Damn it, I've been sucked in here but I'm going to bite...
Yes. Those songs you mentioned may well have been big hits in the 80's. Slight snag is they weren't released until two decades later..!
I'm really struggling to see what your point is here..
Yes, they are still releasing great, high quality material and have done since their 80's commercial peak, but for what feels like the thousandth time, please accept that PET SHOP BOYS WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER BIG SINGLE HIT, regardless of what they release.
There is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.
