National Television Awards
Re: National Television Awards
He's an unfunny, puerile creep and looks like something from a Hammer Horror film. He's also a not so subtle racist. I had to read half of one of his kids books to my son. Humour is a good cover for one's real feelings.

Are you talking about Walliams.? He makes my skin crawl...public schoolboy who has made a fortune out of belittling the poor and other disenfranchised groups...daveid wrote: Fri 31 Jan 2020, 8:48 am He's an unfunny, puerile creep and looks like something from a Hammer Horror film. He represents the nasty underbelly made up to look respectable. Little Britain is unfunny, unsubtle, classist and racist. No wonder it was so popular in this insular little backwater of a country.
Tom Baker was the only good thing about it.

I've seen it and don't bother, it's 46 minutes of luvvies collecting awards and Z list celebs from soaps...and of course Ant&Dec who can do no wrong and get an award even when they aren't on TV... PSB don't appear.Greendrake wrote: Thu 30 Jan 2020, 10:55 am Does this play for anybody? https://www.itv.com/hub/the-national-te ... a7316a0012
To me it says "Sorry! This video isn't available right now.".
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Here's a Youtube upload of the performance.

It's the best quality I could get running through a VPN since I'm outside of the UK.

Re: National Television Awards
On Twitter, I am quarrelling to death with every bitch who says PSB were shit; that they were a parody of themselves in National Awards and that they should have died long ago etc etc
So it is soon that I will be voted as the week's sociopath.
Re: National Television Awards
I really think people just watch award shows to critisise.
Especially cheesy tv ones
Here in Australia it's a national past time!

He is skin crawling. His books are a poor man's Roald Dahl, his camp schtick is about as appropriate as the black and white minstrels. How did PSB end up with him as a cling-on.daveid wrote: Fri 31 Jan 2020, 8:48 am He's an unfunny, puerile creep and looks like something from a Hammer Horror film. He's also a not so subtle racist.
