Seems it’s time for another Bobby O cash-in again. Just wish more of the original material got released instead, like that unfinished album or at least the 25-minute jam of the song Pet Shop Boys?

So Bobby O finally found the accapellas so we can get a proper remix not just one with dubbed over drums.
As a fan of Ben Liebrand I'm surprised he remixed the 'fake' version, that said the mixes are not bad. I won't be buying it though.

The cynic in me thinks the record label and Bobby O have come to an arrangement - to take advantage of increased visibility of the song via the Guardian deciding it's the UK's best ever chart-topper (and to a lesser extent the lockdown version). The deejay.de website makes specific reference to the Guardian coverage, after all:Why now? Who commissioned and paid for these remixes?

Honestly to me these previews sound fantastic.
It does irk me a little to think it's officially licensed by totally unapproved by PSB themselves.
They should commission a collection of remixes of songs from the back catalogue for Disco 5.
