New Erasure

Thoughts on new Erasure? Have to admit I really like vince’s analogue sound on here. Chorus was always my favorite album by them.

Opinion? 4th rate chancers who've lived off the same plinky plonk sound for their entire career and who aren't fit to lick the boots of Neil and Chris.

Best Erasure single in a VERY long time. I agree VCMG was Vince Clark's best project of the 21st Century. Erasure seems to have become an every-other-album is good affair.

Why the *uck is there still this toxic rivalry between the two (among fans)? The only thing that connects them are that they're both an electronic duo, they aren't even remotely striving for the same in their music, so no comparison necessary. :wall:
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

What he did with Jean-Michel Jarre on Electronica 1 was fantastic

Exactly my point, its chalk and cheese, with the only similarity a keyboard duo. I'm tired of people coming on bleating about Erasure, I really couldn't care less about them. Vince Clarke has been stuck in a time warp since 1979, everything sounds the same and he just hasn't developed at all. It's like going on a Beatles forum and constantly talking about The Rolling Stones. Please delete this topic.

I like it to be honest. Vince Clarke’s best project for me is the 2square one with Paul Hartnoll. That was quality.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

I'm sure there's an unreleased nursery rhyme concept album somewhere in the vaults.

New 'Day-Glo' Neon rework announced. As a big fan of their self-titled Erasure epic album I'm interested to see what this project brings. https://www.erasureinfo.com/day-glo-bas ... rue-story/
