My gf, who is really into fashion and designer clothes, asked me who's the designer of their clothes for this tour. Maybe it's on the tour programme. Does anybody know? I found no word about it on the official site.

Unfortunately, due to my job schedule this festival has been the only viable option for me so far this time.euroboy wrote:That same thing happened to me with the Fundamental tour. I saw them at a festival and later when I saw other performances I realized that they did a reduced show in which there were songs that they did not sing.le petit corbusier wrote: Fri 01 Jul 2022, 2:04 am I have tickets for next week in Bilbao. And I'm really jealous of you people from other parts of Europe who have experienced the full concert. Here in Spain it's all about festivals now instead on individual tour concerts, so they will likely perform the short version of the show... Damn! I'd kill to hear Single/Bilingual live.
Since then I have ruled out festivals and only large stadiums. In this Dreamworld I have been able to see them at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin and the experience is incomparable.
I would repeat without a doubt in another country.

Trust me, they all do. Autotune is no longer the “Cher effect”. Mind you that was almost 25 years ago, even before mobile phones became available for normal people and internet was dial-in modems only (and smartphones would not see the light of day in another 10-12 years). AI and computer power have exploded extremely in the last 10 years.East End Bhoy wrote: Fri 01 Jul 2022, 8:05 pmI don't think Neil uses Autotune. Although no doubt the technology will have moved on, I sounds to me Neil is singing live. Does anyone know if he still goes to singing lessons? Not only to sound good, but also given the touring schedules PSB have, to protect his voice.
He does sing live but his voice is almost certainly being processed.
As long as it sounds natural I do not mind TBH. And he probably has a vocal coach as well.

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
My view is that the vocals in Cork last week were less likely to be as "live" as Glastonbury. At Glastonbury all the vocals were definitely live and less perfect compared to Cork.oakey wrote: Fri 01 Jul 2022, 4:56 pmYes, as much I’d like to believe that he improved his singing ovwr the uears, it’s just that: technology improved so much since autotune became availble and all pop singers use it.minimal wrote: Fri 01 Jul 2022, 2:07 pm Dunno whether or not Neil really improved that much on live singing but technology that aims at improving live vocals (correction, stability etc.) surely has and they will undoubtedly make use of it.

It's a minor matter to me as the overall experience is memorable and faultless.

Diana Ross at Glastonbury could have been doing with it. That was a shameoakey wrote: Sat 02 Jul 2022, 9:10 amTrust me, they all do. Autotune is no longer the “Cher effect”. Pet Shop Boys are becoming rock starts in festivals. Take a look at how many people in the crowd they had in Grece. The place is quite big.

Definitely a lot of pitch correction in the vocals. The technology has gotten so good that it is pretty much unnoticeable though.East End Bhoy wrote: Fri 01 Jul 2022, 8:05 pmI don't think Neil uses Autotune. Festivals in the UK are just 5h1t aren't they! Want a festival? Go abroad. Cheaper, better weather, better facilities and cheaper food and drink once you're there.Nickname wrote: Sat 02 Jul 2022, 10:58 pm Pet Shop Boys are becoming rock starts in festivals. PSB can even have a good period of summer holidays in Canary islands. They have a perfect schedule for that.tottenhammattspurs wrote: Tue 05 Jul 2022, 11:39 amFestivals in the UK are just 5h1t aren't they! Want a festival? Go abroad. Maybe this is a better placeto ask for it: Is there someone on this board who used a white or black frame for their Dreamworld Lithography and willing to share pics? I'm yet to decide what's the best colour to frame it. Thank you.
