Interesting. Wonder if by "we took the master", they meant they added overdubs onto the two track stereo bounced down master mix, as opposed to having access to the multitracks of the Perfect Attitude remix?

And also picking out the melody of "How can you expect to be" in the chorus. The same parts are in the Behaviour version. So guess PSB got access to the multitracks of the Perfect Attitude 7" mix, edited it slightly differently and overdubbed some of those original parts, as well as the extra spoken bits to make their own 7' mix.
But was that version ever officially released?
I always was under the impression that the "You gotta have funk" part was only in the video version.

Yes, it was the double A side with Where The Streets Have No Name, but the version in the video only ever appeared on the 7" - so never officially released on CD. We'll be able to grab a hi-rez audio copy from the forthcoming Blu-ray though.

Greetings,

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but do we know what Blu-ray regions the 3CD/2Blu-ray release is coming out on? I'm hoping for Region 4 (Australia) or region-free. I don't want to fork out money for something only for it not to work. Cheers.

Retro. :)

So good-ish news at least.
How long to fix the issues?

2023 remastered videos beginning to appear on YouTube. Only watched a bit of Numb, it does appear slightly clearer and detailed
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Love Etc looks amazing. I’m steaming using Apple 4K tv connected to a HD but non 4K tv. The Blu ray should hopefully be even better. By coincidence I’ve got a 4K tv I order due week before Smash is released.

Hey. SMASH! The 1984 version of West End girls starts with smashed glass after the one minute long intro.

EMI put out this really strange compilation called essentials,
which had several 7 inch singles, and a few remixes:

https://www.discogs.com/master/28477-Pe ... -Essential
Domino Dancing (Alternative Version) 4:42
West End Girls (Dance Mix) 6:29
Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) (Original 7" Version) 3:48
Paninaro (7" Version) 4:40
That's My Impression (7" Version) 4:48
We All Feel Better In The Dark (Extended Mix) 6:47
It Couldn't Happen Here (LP Version) 5:20
It's Alright (7" Version) 4:20
Left To My Own Devices (7" Version) 4:46
In The Night (Remix) 6:28
Two Divided By Zero (LP Version) 3:36
Love Comes Quickly (Dance Mix) 6:48
Being Boring (Extended Version) 10:40
Total Time: 1:13:12

Still not sure what it was about, but I have it.

so it is possible for their label to come out with
other listings, and mixes.

Absolutely it was. I was in hospital when the single came out, and mum went to the shops and got me the cassette. Played it over and over on my Walkman… every track was exciting at the time. Loved it.

What is the name of that mix again?

And can I find it somewhere on the streamers?

Strictly speaking it doesn’t have a title although I think it’d be fair to call it the 7” mix.
