You'll learn nothing from the merchant shop fronts.

The process was very in-house, disconnected from the distributors, so I expect you'll probably only be able get an answer from their management.

My guess is that the replacements will be X2 funded, and probably written off as a tax-loss.

Retro. :)
Been grateful they've even offered to send it at all.

Retro. :)

But have they answered you?

Have they told you that they will send you a replacement?

What address have you communicated with? I have not had a response.
I have sent emails to almost all the addresses they have provided me and I still have no responses.

I don't know what to do. What have you done?

The ONLY way to get a replacement was to do it through the website. You apparently didn’t and you have missed the deadline. They can’t keep on replacing them particularly for those who chose to buy after the error was acknowledged. You aren’t going to get a response. The only way you are going to get a corrected version is to buy yet another copy once the new one is released. If they even bother to do that.
If I thought what you’d think I wouldn’t even be here.

Is it that much aof a big deal though? I mean, the corrected version is on YouTube and once you've watched Smash BluRay, would you really watch it again or just go straight to YouTube for the convenience? Personally, I'm not that bothered about not getting to see a naked man jump up and down and not get his tackle bitten off by that Alsatian!
is is and isnt isnt

It seems very bad on the part of the store. If it is an error they should correct it. First replace all those sent with this error and of course release a corrected version for future buyers. I know it's nonsense and that it's a simple video that's on YouTube, but it's more to show more seriousness on the part of the store.

Its operation leaves a lot to be desired and I think it is counterproductive in the purchasing experience. The operation of the store does PSB no favors. From significant delays in customs fee refunds to slow shipping or editing errors.

I have been trying to get this replacement disc for ages now. Registered on the link on the PSB site the day it was announced, but have heard nothing. Been in touch with HMV (who I purchased from) and they have been pretty good at trying to track down what is going on, but just wrote to say

"We have heard back from the distributor and unfortunately the supplier is no longer able to source a replacement for the mis pressed blu ray, apologies for any disappointment caused."

A bit hacked off not so much with the wrong disc as it does not matter that much, but why set up the link etc. and then not honour it. Been a fan for their whole career and have hundreds of copies of their physical product, I feel this is pretty poor from them really.

Never mind.

Greetings,

I think it's a bit harsh to expect a replacement. It's not as if Being Boring was missing altogether... it was just not their preferred version. If they ever come to read some of these comments, they'll probably regret having ever mentioned it - because if they didn't, no one else would have.

I'm kind of ambivalent about it tbh. I have the proper version on a previous release, and never actually had this version (or knew it existed), so it's kind of cool to have an alternative "mix" that perhaps never should have seen the light of day. Some people get so into the small differences in some of the Smash single mixes, so how is this particularly different?

It's not harsh to expect a replacement when one has already been promised.

Although honestly the entire Blu-ray release should be replaced for the terrible upscale applied to the older videos, they look horrendous. Awful quality job, PSB deserve so much better.

Just received an email from Warners stating that they are in the process of getting these out to everyone that registered. I can't attach the email for some reason, but I'm sure everyone else will get it over the next while.

PSB management has been monitoring this thread. Anyone who has bitched and moaned has been removed from the replacement distribution list. Please accept this as validation for your approach to life.
