@petshopboys their release of "Dreamworld:The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen",captured live by director David Barnard in a 14-camera shoot.their concert film is coming to cinemas worldwide for two nights only on 31 January&4 February 2024

I think 14 camera shoot is a good amount of cameras. David Barnard worked on tours of Eric Clapton, Radiohead, Björk and Spice Girls.
David Barnard also directed PSB last 3 concert films:- Cubism, Pandemonium Live at the O2 and Inner Sanctum ;)
Its taken me all of my life to find you

For us Dutch readers: It's not in the list of Dutch distributors, I just heard from my local cinema (I work there). So it probably won't play here.

I wonder if it will do as well as the theatrical release of It Couldn’t Happen Here?

Do you now speak about The Netherlands or Belgium? So far the screening isn't listed anywhere...

Hoping for a London showing. Wonder if they will go for the Cineworld/Vue/Odeons ... or more likely the smaller independents.

Either way, I'll be buying popcorn!
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

I will be very, very disappointed if this is screened only in certain big cities as for instance London and Birmingham get to see the show physically every time anyway. This is crying out to be shown at small independent cinemas out in the sticks because getting to shed like city venues isn't always easy without the added expense of an overnight stop and/or suitable transport..
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Agreed …. Would be fantastic to see this screened across the UK and with only 2 nights scheduled I’m sure it would be well attended

What I was thinking about: isn't it a little strange to screen the concert on New Year's Eve, 31th December?

That evening a lot of the people will be sitting at home, enjoying a nice meal with friends and family and go out to celebrate the new year, but going to the cinema??

Maybe it depends from country to country, don't know but I think that screening the concert on 31th December is commercial wise not that clever. Any thoughts?

Looking forward to this. Will it stop me going to see them a 3rd time this tour? Probably not

It’s 31 January, not 31st December.
Woof.
