A ballad would be nice, would really like that.

Something Techoish would be good ,I really hope the album is dancey with the odd ballad hopefully something sounding upbeat but have a feeling it's going to be sombre, they are really at their best when doing dance with a orchestra

Neil has said it will be less dancey, than the Price albums.

Seeing the pic it will be something like "did you see me coming". However i hope it will be much better and more techno than just a simple happy song.

I think the same.

With the colour lights in the background I don't think is going to be a ballad.

The new single will be the first of a new era.
It must be liked by people who discovered the band with the old hits.
A song that is released for a 40 years anniversary.

A song that cannot be too much electro after the price trilogy, but petheads will complain if it's a ballad.

If it's an electro stomper, they will complain about the numerous ballads and say that the first single was the best.

It must represent the album too. It cannot sound the same as the previous one but must not be too different, burning the heather could have been on the new album.

This picture from the new video (we should guess for the lead single) doesn't seem too ballady or downtempo tbh. I'm guessing a midtempo like Flamboyant or Did you see me coming. Not a banger but classic PSB.

I will be only happy if all of these things are not true at the same time ... cause that's what makes me a real pethead :D
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

And there it is for all you debaters, yesterday I finally got excited over the prospect of soon getting to hear the new single. I'm sorry it took so long.
I can't believe it will be a slow song. I'm hoping for something political.
