They may still surprise us with a one-off album launch show...

I was hoping/dreaming of 5 stand-alone performances
Same here... was very exited to have something new launched in that venue (Inner Sanctum was aces).

I was also hoping for a new production for the album,is this not a bit of a risk for the amount of tickets they will sell for a show everyone has seen a few times already?

Yep 5 nights on the bounce seems like a lot in this regard. 3 nights would have been about right I think but let's see ... early days and we will hear more about what this show will look like.

I too hope that there will be a one-off special - probably stripped down and more focussed on the album being planned.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

A little further away for me, but it's such an incredible venue and had such a good time at the previous ROH shows I don't want to miss it!

The royal opera house email is promoting it as the dreamworld tour. I really can’t be arsed to see it yet again. Twice and tonight at the cinema is more than enough. Sound alike they’ll shoehorn in Loneliness and A.N. Other new one in exchange for probably Paninaro and What have I done to deserve this??

All the concerts will sell out for sure I think. Maybe not that fast but the Royal Opera House will be 5 nights in a row fully packed.

Don't forget, Pet Shop Boys are iconic and so is the Royal Opera House in London. Perfect combination.

I was surprised that it's 5 nights in a row without any night off. Maybe Neil will get his own backstage bed to rest beforehand!

That was my impression too upon seeing those five dates announced as part of the new releases campaign....
