My Credit card has been stopped halfway though ordering my PSB's bits and don't know what to do.

Hi! Hope you are all well. Would it be at all possible if someone who knows more than me could give me some advice please? I have ordered quite a few PSB's items a little while ago and had to have my credit card stopped today as someone decided to send me something I did not order and they said I did. I am getting a new credit card in the post but, what happens to my orders I have already ordered as I have tried to e-mail some of the companies to tell them about it but I am still waiting to know what to do. Thank you! P.S. I have had the "thank you for your order" e-mails from the companies already. So am I ok?

Have they already taken your money? They've already charged my card for the new album order via the official site, so if it were me it wouldn't make any difference.

Thank you for your reply and help James23_uk. I am not sure if they have taken my money or not as I am still waiting for my credit card statement. One of the companies replied to me and said that their order went though ok and that was one of the last companies I used luckily. So, I really hope my orders are ok.

I had a company charge me twice for an order. The second charge was made three months later, and at a most inconvenient time too. Took a month to get back, thankfully I found the contact of a manager I spoke to before as until then, was not getting much response.

I had STUPIDLY used a VISA Direct Debit card (not Mastercard, sorry Pets) instead of my VISA Credit Card, which is more sensible as you are better covered on fraud. And I can easily transfer money to it after using it using the Halifax app.

I asked the Halifax to give me two new VISA Direct Debit cards. One needed an update anyway ideally - older type. By doing that, the numbers changed for paying out, but paying in (Sort/Account) remain the same. So, if in another three months they try and take the payment again (think was a glitch actually, system thought was unpaid due to first payment failing and paying them manually) it will fail. It was lucky I noticed. Had work been busier and larger income, might have not realised.

Use VISA Credit Card when ordering online or PayPal. You are better protected.

Many thanks for your advice Mole. Glad you found out and got it all sorted out in the end. It takes an effort doesn't it? I check everything. My PSB's order was ok in the end I am very glad to say. Please all be careful and check everything! Yes, never use a Debit card for orders - Visa credit card is much better. - I agree. I only use the debit card to take money out in the bank itself. I don't use it on anything else.

The place that sent me the order that I had to have my crdit card stopped for - it was not PSB's related. But, I still do not know what has happened as I didn't order it or was even charged for it (had to change cards anyway from their own advice) and the company was supposed to have collected the order and they never bothered to ever collect it. It's still here.
