Despite the Guardian's complete lack of grasp to reality - happy to preach the politics that it's wealthy, middle class (il)liberal north London readers will never be at the receiving end of, and it's utter compliance in promoting governmental propaganda during covid - this evening does look pretty interesting.

I wonder of there will be any questions from the crowd? Such as what is the destiny of other songs written (and recorded?) for the album?

The guardian is bankrupt thanks to it's free articles (can't say I'm sad) - instead it takes funding from Bill Gates foundation, so no agenda-driven journalism here AT ALL, move along.

PSB are BBC and Grauniad "darlings" so seem to give all their exclusive stuff to them.

I don't really mind but for unbiased or alternative views just look elsewhere. It's not that hard to get a rounded set of opinions and then decide for yourself.

For all it's faults, it's still the best of the newspapers out there - the only one without a single proprietor and with a genuinely broad church of opinions. It's also the only one that seems to contain any form of investigative journalism. Look at all the scoops it's had over the past x number of years, for which they get no credit.

What's the alternative? The Murdoch press with its blatant right-wing, free-market, anti-union agenda and revolving door with government that has existed since Thatcher spread her legs for him in 1981.

This country has been so spiritually subjugated and morally bankrupt for so long it can't recognise good any more, apart from something to be viewed with deep McCarthyesque suspicion. Stockholm Syndrome is a national way of life. We wake each morning after Sunblest and feel the benefit of punching ourselves in the bollocks before going to work to find new ways to spread misery to everyone else.

It's literally an evening organised by, and held at, the newspaper of the bien pensant. I hope no-one mentions the Royal Opera House in that thread.

Anyway, the Grauniad is charging £15 to listen to some banal questions about why Neil dislikes Putin, wants a senile US President and doesn't know the difference between a canal and a river. The Daily Mail gave us a free greatest hits album with a cool sleeve. Just saying!
