Amazon Nonetheless clear vinyl - very different versions

My AmazonUSA order arrived and it is indeed different...I'd call it properly "milky" as opposed to the EU made one with the blue tint.

Also the inner sleeve is glossier than all other versions. The outer sleeve seems a little oversized for the inner too...it kind of bows outward.

Bit of a faff and annoyed that the Canadian Amazon are sending out the EU version.

But why is this a thing even? It really is the orange Relentless kerfuffle all over again (a copy of which I still don't have). Makes me a bit grumpy

My Amazon US order arrives tuesday. Hoping for the milky too. Did yours have the same hype and barcode stickers as the 'milky' edition in my opening post?

Yes it did - also Xakraj's photo shows the cardboard case it comes in with a sticker (presumably incorrect) that says "nonetheless(INDEX)Opaque Grey" which was also unique to this Amazon USA and was on mine too. The Warner logos are a giveaway too. The Amazon Canada and UK ones didn't have that sticker on the packaging.

Can anyone do a stock take/list of all these album versions/formats before the next one is out?! I had the UK version of the clear vinyl and purchased the US one today.

Vinyl (as best as I can muster) is:

White (double with Furthermore)
Black (as in regular)
Grey (independent record stores)
Zoetrope (Blood Records limited to 4000)
Clear (Amazon UK/Canada - this is from personal experience, others countries Amazons may differ - see below)
Milky Clear (Amazon USA - defined by stickers and labels as noted in this thread)

Blu Ray (with slipcase limited to 1000 - otherwise without)

Cassette

1 x CD
2 x CD (with Furthermore)

My Japanese copy (with Clear Air Hybrid Electric Bus on Furthermore) is the one with a "signed" art card. I think there are about 4 or 5 different packaging options just for the Japanese CD release.

Anyone care to add to this???

There's also US pressings of the black and grey vinyl and of both the CD versions, but not sure if you want to count these. As well as the logos and label copy info being different, there will be slight manufacturing variations because US pressings are done to slightly different and sometimes slightly lower quality specifications (e.g. the paper stock, the shape of the LP inner sleeve etc). Surely it's official, official? My guess would be two totally different supply chains, both told to produce a clear vinyl, and at some point someone took separate interpretations on what 'clear' meant.

Yeah, both of those clear versions look like other clear vinyl I've seen/bought in the past. The milky version was a lot more common until a few years ago. It'll just be because one lot are pressed at a US plant and the other in Europe.

What else does anybody know about the orange cd? Discogs says 84 people have self reported as owning one. AFAIK the orange ones are from Europe from the OS, with one member stating they got 1 from a Swiss store (Cede.ch).
I have a cache of several sealed cds from the OS so I'd like to think they're all orange. Perhaps one day curiosity will get the better of me.

Sorry. I didn't mean to imply that all of the cds from the OS are orange, only some. But all of those that are orange have been sourced from the OS.
