DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & now 2026

A likely scenario is that perhaps the DJ may not be a traditional opening act, and may instead be spinning tunes while everyone waits for PSB to start- like Madonna has been doing for her Celebration Tour. This actually makes sense and worked very well. Instead of sitting around in an arena eagerly anticipating the start of the show with only the noise of the incoming crowd, a DJ (Mr. Stuart Price!) set livened things up and almost created a club like atmosphere.

Worked really well with Paul Oakenfold at the Unity tour gig I attended in NYC. He played to the crowd of course but it def got the energy levels up!

Neil revealed tonight in Manchester (ahead of a formal announcement on Wednesday) that Dave Pearce will be the support act for the UK dates…

Ah, this is why I was told the potential issue with the Birmingham date was the availability of the support act, which made no sense to me at the time!

Hopefully now resolved!

I planned my vacations (and whole life for a few weeks, really) around the Dreamworld dates, starting in Birmingham and I was about to burst into tears haha
Hoping all works out as expected in this last leg of the tour!!

Honestly (and can't believe I am saying this), if PSB tour with Dreamworld in the USA/Canada, I might actually give it a miss. I saw the Unity Tour, so a watered down version of Dreamworld, and whilst it was thoroughly enjoyable (and better than New Order by a country mile), it just wont be as fresh an experience now. If Unity Tour had never happened, I'd be 100% getting tickets.

If Unity Tour had never happened, I'd be 100% getting tickets.

Everytime I say I'm not getting tickets this time, then I get terrible thoughts of how guilty I would feel if it turned out to be the last time I get to see them, and I'd missed it. Tickets booked again for June !

Yes I am seeing the show again in Berlin in July. I know it will be fun night out! And you are right about "the last time I get to see them"...life is so short and they are still in their element.

Well we'll see...they haven't announced a North America tour yet anyway. It'll be heavily dependent on date/day/venue as well.

Don't be too hard on the residents of Northern Ireland. There are political/historical explanations to why PSB may not sell out a concert there (nothing directly to do with PSB) and the price for accommodation is not cheap.

Both venues are midweek dates, so it is tougher to sell those out. Also, a lot of the tickets that are left are 'premium' tickets which are very expensive.

Manchester also has a lot of seats left, Nottingham almost sold out, and Bham has sold out. That's a big venue (14k I think) and twice they have sold it out in 2 years !

I doubt it's anything to do with politics or history although there may be a little residual resentment to bands who didn't come regularly in The Bad Old Days, but to be fair, for many years, Belfast had a very limited venue offer for the type of show they put on, so I don't think it's the case here.

I don't think the Belfast gig has been well promoted outside fandom circles.
It's also the beginning of gig/festival season, there's loads of stuff coming up and casual fans are perhaps counting their pennies/saving themselves for things later on in the summer.

Gary Human was slated to play the Telegraph building (a cavernous old print hall with some portaloos) last Friday, tonnes of tickets unsold, they moved it to a much smaller sister venue (which I hate, lol) and it sold out on the day.
He did quite a lot of PR/interviews in the final few days.
He played the Ulster Hall two years ago, and I can't remember if it sold out but it was pretty packed. Ticket and accommodation prices are always going up, but wages aren't.

Also the Boys played Glasgow in 2022, and then Aberdeen a year later in 2023.
Maybe a lot of people travelled from Glasgow and Edinburgh for Aberdeen. Although in saying that, the concert hasn't been particularly well advertised around town either.
