I always thought Disappointed would have made a good Eurovision song. The chorus, and Neil's 'aaaah aaaa aaaah's' are instantly catchy.Wish wrote: Sun 02 Jun 2024, 11:17 am I don't think zero points on Eurovision is what Pet Shop Boys need.

I don't think PSB could be competitive enough for Eurovision nowadays. The music they do now is quite old like they are.Wish wrote: Sun 02 Jun 2024, 11:17 am I don't think zero points on Eurovision is what Pet Shop Boys need.

Well, it wasn't what I meant.
Anyway, I don't think you are an adequate person.
Also I don't think that this year Olly's song was bad enough to receive zero points from public vote.
So it's not a question of age at all.

She’s introducing the acts one by one so I’d say this is happeningdbaseboy wrote: Sun 02 Jun 2024, 11:01 am **Spoiler alert**
Rumour has it that tomorrow, the boys will be announced as headliners for this years BBC Radio 2’s Party in the Park;
7 – 8 Sep 2024, Moor Park, Preston
Zoe Ball making the announcement tomorrow morning on her show, with a play of A new bohemia so I’ve been informed.

But she played West End girls so no new Bohemia. Neil's weeks are very long it seems.One of the crowd wrote: Mon 03 Jun 2024, 8:13 amShe’s introducing the acts one by one so I’d say this is happeningdbaseboy wrote: Sun 02 Jun 2024, 11:01 am **Spoiler alert**

How difficult would it be to change the set list a bit more than they have done? The newly added 3 new singles all follow each other in the same segment when I would have liked to have heard them spread out between the classics. I realise it's all programmed but for the different legs of Dreamworld they have so many more hits to include.....A red letter day. Dj culture. Flamboyant. I get along. Memory of the future. Love etc......etc!
I'm too weak to be strong

Off to Glasgow tonight, doesn't looks like it's sold as well as 2 years ago (but then it is a Tuesday). Venue suggests 19.15 for Dave Pearce.Cot3 wrote: Wed 29 May 2024, 1:19 pm Pet Shop Boys Tennant says OVO Hydro will be great but West End Girls delivered Crieff Hydro disappointment

Just wondering if there’s any new merch? Are the signed lithographs the same as last year’s?

Really enjoyed tonight, great atmosphere down the front anyway. Set list was fab, as expected, the new songs sounded brilliant. New Bohemia went down a storm.
The top tiers of the place were curtained off so think there were quite a few unsold tickets but it is a Tuesday and they did play here a few years ago. Crowd did still sound loud though and the Boys seemed chuffed with the warm reception.
