For me, this will probably be a difficult listen. The lack of pattern fries my brain. Maybe due to not having the enjoyment of correctly predicting where a song will go next? Then again, maybe I'm just cloth-eared.

It's sinking in a bit with repeat listens. I've always kicked myself for missing Neil's Private Passions interview with Michael Berkeley on Radio 3. Neil's musical choices are listed here (5 May 2001)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_P ... 80%932004)

Now that the lyrics section of the official site (once updated) will be just missing songs beginning with ''X'' I'm looking forward to Xylophone song.

One and done for me - it's OK, but not essential as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah not great that.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

Never expected the worlds of PSB and Pink Floyd to crossover. Great.

Glad to see David Gilmour on guitar.

With Roger Waters we would have gotten Shouty Neil!

Neil in his worst register unfortunately, and he doesn't have the best of melodies to work with. Gilmour's guitar is always a bliss.

I love Pet Shop Boys and Pink Floyd but this isn't very good, is it? Having said that, I'd love to see a genuine collaboration between the Pet Shop Boys and David Gilmour. They're producing their best music in years IMHO and he has gone pretty stale. I'm not holding out any hope for his upcoming album being any good.

A third of a million streams for the collaborationwith Neil and David Gilmour. I've just ordered a physical copy of the album which can be streamed on Spotify.
