Great night with great people, was fab to meet (and have a brilliant laugh) with Petshopgrrl all the way from the USA. I also had a torch grump in front of me for ANB, didn't really catch on like Berlin last night!
The lady beside me last night is frantically trying to find a return as she had such a great time.

I was in the amphitheatre and there was plenty of chair dancing but no widespread standing until It's A Sin (all rise for the National Anthem!)
Looks like plenty of space in the mosh pit, I'll confirm after tonight.

Was very pleased to see my dancing buddy from last night got a ticket for tonight as well!

The pit is so roomy. I basically had the far right hand side to myself and danced like a loon. Another amazing night and met some great folks yet again. But I think I'm going to hurt tomorrow.

Ukraine would knock pretty much any Islamic country into a hat homophobia-wise. I presume (what other possible explanations are there?) that without even having thought about it in the slightest they just automatically regard Palestinian lives as worthless. Although maybe all the stick they've got for ignoring the genocide in Gaza has made them stop pretending to care about what's going on in Ukraine.

Neil commented about Gaza at the Guardian event in London a few months ago.

I went last night to ROH - a great night , and really good to hear the 3 new singles included. Monkey Business was dropped from the last time - can't recall if anything has gone.

How they managed to pick 2 hours worth of singles I don't know - so many more would have been good to hear. Still like to see a tour of B sides, album tracks etc.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but there is an official ROH tour programme in addition to the 2024 Dreamworld one. It is red and cost £10.00 think it's all new content inside - I didn't recognise any of it.

He was extremely meely-mouthed, didn't call out the genocide, just vaguely gestured towards some sort of final solution.

I think it's quite funny how some people feel that celebrities should occupy themselves with the same causes that they do. One thing I've always noted about Neil & Chris is their wholehearted support for gay rights; on that basis I'd expect their sympathy with homophobic theocracies to be quite limited, no matter how badly said theocracy is getting its arse handed to it.

I also tend to prefer it when celebs keep their politics to themselves. They don't need to comment on absolutely everything going on in the world.

Helloooooooo, she’s back, back, BACK in the US of A! I had a post all ready to go on Tuesday night about how brilliant the first show was but managed to fall asleep before hitting submit and between tech woes and travel I ended up losing the whole thing and this is the first chance I have had to try again.

ANYWHO, as I was trying to say, what a bloody awesome show that was, and what a wonderful venue! The sound started off a little weird but then someone pushed the right button and it sprang into glorious life and never let up from there. I was up on the top tier so it was difficult to see the audience but I could certainly hear them. The high vantage point was nice because I could see things that I had missed on my previous two shows and only noticed in the movie. PSB could probably do Dreamworld in their sleep now but it still felt fresh and Neil’s banter was on top form (“This lot down the front have probably seen this about fifty times!” during his opening monologue).

It was pretty much a flawless romp through the classics and three newbies that clocked in at two hours. The dancers came out for Dreamland, It’s Alright, Heart and Vocal. There was mostly chair dancing on our side too (which suited me fine as I had been walking around London all day) until Paninaro, when the lasses behind us, who were a wee bit snockered, tried to get up and boogie and almost started a cascade. We were all up for Go West, and of course the aforementioned National Anthem. You know you follow a heritage act when everyone tries to stand for the signature hit and there’s a chorus of “ACK! KNEES!”

So yeah, well worth extending my trip for, and thank you very much to Kenif for saving me his spare ticket! I was a bit bummed about the ROH tour fans selling out so quickly but was able to pick one up through the online store so it’s on its way.

And it was awesome to meet the delightful Vintage Youth as well! We decided to grab food before the show but couldn’t decide if it should be Pizza express or Zizzi’s, so we walked into Zizzi’s as it was closer and there was a mosaic on the threshold that read “This Must Be The Place” so we decided that this must be a SIGN and sat down, only to discover that the cocktail menu offered an Amalfi Sundown as well. How did we get here??
