And the full show (as opposed to sharing the bill with New Order) for North America!

I think we’ll get Disco 5 at some point in the near future with “Adrenaline” as the bait track.

I hope they start to start working on older materials:
- Remaster and re-release of old 12" singles?
- 12" mix boxset?
- Re-release Alternative, release Format and a 3rd B-side collection on vinyl?
- What about an exhibition?

Disco 5 hasn’t been announced. You can’t go by an off the cuff remark made months ago. Neither has a live album. We know they’ll be a Blu Ray release of Dreamworld but we don’t know it’ll be a live album too.Future Lover wrote: Thu 01 Aug 2024, 3:55 pm I try not to be ungrateful, they've basically announced at least three future projects - Disco 5, the live album and a new musical. I'm sure a new product is ready to drain me of my funds any day now... I do hope there's single #4 coming, this was such a wonderful era.
Its taken me all of my life to find you

I expect nothing less than a new album by Christmas or it's over.

I'm looking forward to the Catalogue update 'Volume' coming out, which is anywhere between Jan and April depending on which website you look at.
Waterstones looks like it has got the front cover showing,. unless that is just a holding photo.

I think there are more singles on the way. With that show of top hits of them and specially the concert with Radio 2, I think they should go with another single.

Thanks for mentioning this, it is indeed showing! Looks too polished to be fanmade, think it's the real deal. And it's genuinely great!Pinhead44 wrote: Mon 05 Aug 2024, 8:47 am I'm looking forward to the Catalogue update 'Volume' coming out, which is anywhere between Jan and April depending on which website you look at.

560 pages. It's a beast of a book ! That adds about 230 pages to the original one.Future Lover wrote: Mon 05 Aug 2024, 5:50 pmThanks for mentioning this, it is indeed showing! Dimensions are 235mm by 159mm. Catalogue is 259 by 244 to give comparison.

That would be an interesting concept, especially after hearing "I've got plans involving you"Mattis wrote: Sun 04 Aug 2024, 10:01 am I hope they start to start working on older materials:

to record a new album someday exclusively redoing songs from way back in the day they never properly recorded.no new material.
you know, everyone's always been going on and on and on about "in the club or in the queue" or songs like playing hard to get, Mid-life crisis Bubadubadubadum etc etc.. if people miss the really old PSB it would be a way to capture those days because the songs were written back in a time where they were in a certain head space. it would literally be a form of time travel. maybe only allow themselves the types of synths and equipment they used back in the day. obviously it would be simply fan service but still interesting.
I'm pretty sure Van Halen is the only band who went with that concept.
*****Van Halen's 2012 album A Different Kind of Truth includes seven songs that were originally demoed in the late 1970s and early 1980s but never released. The band drew on their "miles" of recorded ideas from before their first album in 1978 *****
