uhh art / merch ( ? ) but psb related !!

#1 Post by fl0rian_f1nn »

soo i´ve been thinking about making like psb products ( handmade & painted by me ( image ) ), but i really don´t know what because i don´t really know what people would want ( ex. i´m going to make myself a cover for my cd because i´m burning one ), sooo i wanted to ask if anyone would actually want something like this

i saw people selling psb merch ( i´m guessing official ), so here´s unofficial merch ( or whatever i should call it )

please feel free to send suggestions ( either reply here or send me a private message, it´s up to you )

thank you so so much !!

have a great day / night !!

Well...
I don't think you can sell unofficial merch here (Or anywhere actually) because, err, it's unofficial. And I think giving ideas for it might be also considered promoting something that's not legal.
And I think that might be the reason this post hasn't got much attention.

Personally I'm not a merch fan. Merch I've been collecting mostly by chance is stored somewhere in my house I don't really remember where. I find posters cringeworthy, even official ones.

What happens to me is that I get a hype buying them at concerts but then I feel embarrassed to have them around.
I even consider records on the wall to be cringeworthy.

What I do have is some psb books in my coffee table. those I show, and they also serve a purpose. I find myself browsing through catalogue form time to time.

Anyways, I guess this is not the answer you expected, but at least I answered something.

Cheers!

PD: I've got a psb fan Facebook group with almost 10 thousands members and posting unofficial merch means instant ban from it. I first allowed it but everyone hated them so much I had to do something about it.

Speaking for myself, I enjoy the official merch when it is substantial and beautiful and stylish (lithos, Catalogue etc) but I can do without (eg) a water bottle with the tour logo on or whatever.

Unofficial merch I would avoid like the plague. Absolute shit. Even if you think you’re creating something with the ‘PSB/Farrow aesthetic’… you aren’t. Don’t bother.
