Re: Radio 2 in the Park Preston
I've been threatening to drag my mate to Blackpool after the Clacton pilgrimage so this is a good excuse to try and get tickets, at least he's off the hook for Margate. For now.

They should do a live version of Party in the blitz but change it to Party in the park

Interesting idea. Wonder if there is anything about Neil in North Shields or Newcastle. Should have some spare time when I'm there in SeptemberVintage Youth wrote: Mon 03 Jun 2024, 11:45 am I've been threatening to drag my mate to Blackpool after the Clacton pilgrimage so this is a good excuse to try and get tickets, at least he's off the hook for Margate. My friend is from the same area so that's on the list too! There's a few old haunts you could visit for sure.CSL wrote: Mon 03 Jun 2024, 4:50 pmInteresting idea. You should definitely hit up the Lit & Phil library and the People's Theatre!

Anyone with knowledge of parking for the show, would be grateful if any suggestions.

Parking near the Uni should be available on a Sunday. Victoria Car Park is about 10-15 mins walk. Town centre parking plentiful but that's probably double the distance.RMC wrote: Tue 04 Jun 2024, 8:51 am Anyone with knowledge of parking for the show, would be grateful if any suggestions.

Hehe!TallThinMan wrote: Mon 03 Jun 2024, 8:35 am Zoe Ball had posters of "these guys" on her bedroom wall when she was a young lass. It's, it's...Haircut 100! WTF.
I wonder whether two members of Haircut 100 will form a barbershop quartet with Chris and Neil for the event.
