I’ll never forget the day I listened to Disco for the first time. When this came up I jumped out of my skin. Little did I know at the time that it was the Clothes Show theme. Loved both.

Oh wow - the theme to Miami Vice and Equalizer were totally my jam back in the day. Loved it!

Vanishing Point on Making Out was interesting - I never watched the show properly, but it seemed to fit quite well against the pieces I did see. A top drawer NO track too in my book.

In The Night always triggers me a bit, The Clothes Show reminds me of Sunday night 'back to school' dread I ended up interviewing Jeff Banks when he launched a collection for Matalan

Making Out was really good, it was repeated recently. Of course starring Margi Clarke, who also appeared in the Rent video.

Pete Shelley’s ‘Tour de France’ theme is a masterpiece, it’s a shame it’s never been released properly. Happy memories of watching Channel Four’s coverage of Le Tour in the late 1980s with that music.

Difficult to argue with number one.

I think that was my first career ambition, to work for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, based on this and the other themes they put out. I just assumed it was too tough to get a job in there. If I'd known it was a woman behind all this magic, I might have tried harder. (Oh, how times have changed.)

Some glorious memories in this lot! TOTP might have been a mostly cheesy show but they had great themes. I used to record themes off the telly with my tinny little mono tape recorder, thinking that was the only way I'd ever hear great music like that again, and now look where we are.

Never watched the Clothes Show - wasn't interested in fashion AT ALL.

I was about to protest the absence of Grange Hill, but I think that theme came from a generic library

The film clip for Miami Vice is kinda hilarious

There are so many good themes. Fawlty Towers is lovely, and was composed especially for the show I think?

Gran Hermano (Big Brother). I don't know if this version was only for Spain but it's one of the best ever tunes for a TV show. The full tune is great.

Oh YES, this one!!! Chills straight down the spine! Although I think the first place I actually heard it was when it was used in that Doctor Who episode that was a futuristic version of BB.
