I wonder if this tea set is rated PG?

Thought of some pun PSB related titles

At Crock Bottom
Dreaming Of The Cream
More Than A Cream
One And One Make Five Cups Of Tea
Tea Party Song
The Teapot Dictator Decides

Makes me think of the line from 'It Couldn't Happen Here'

if there where no teacups...then there would be no tea drinkers

The PSB Shop is now down. Either they've come to their senses or it's crashed under the demand.

OK, but seriously, "tea" literally crops up all over the place in PSB mythology. This maybe makes more sense than anyone realises.

As noted above, the tea references in ICHH, Neil's quip about being at No1 with West End girls, Che Guevara's drink of choice, Dreaming of the Queen.

I'm actually beginning to think this has been quite well thought out.

If this were Erasure we'd be ripping the **** out of Pughie and co. I don't recognise PSB in many ways these days, which is a bit sad.

Father forgive me
I tried not to brew it
Turned over a tea leaf
Poured water through it

Probably a bigger market for a 12” box set/CD box set than the market for £600 tea sets!
Absolutely, it’s their bloody profession!

I think there“s a chance for a Adidas shoe designed by Chris. He attended an Adidas event a few month ago and he met the Adidas design boss.
Are you talking about Gary Aspden of SPZL as that would be class. The meeting was an exhibition in Blackburn.

Also, the Boys mentioned in Annually that they have a “tea-drinking schedule” which they follow to, well… a T. In Berlin, they even grow their own herbs for making infusions. To me, this feels perfectly on-brand, not only for the PSB image but also for their personal lives.

I feel your pain. I’m genuinely impressed with their career management (albeit less so with their recent records), but I too feel a little less obsessively interested in certain aspects these days. I think it’s called getting old. Us more than them!

Bet the tea sets sell out, too.

Drico.

I think this really is an "each to their own" - a pair of PSB branded shoes might not float my boat in the same way this teaset does. I'd be down for a pair of branded Vans (I used to try to sneak through my own designs using images from PSB and New Order but they always got caught!) I'd be all over that maybe.

I guess we'll see what else shakes out on this initiative soon enough. I'm not usually one to buy anything but PSB music (CD's, vinyl and so forth, and t shirts from concerts) so this is kind of outside my wheelhouse too. The Funko's were the last "off-piste" thing I bought I think...
