This..innerxsanctum wrote: Thu 19 Dec 2024, 11:49 am This forum is full of spoiled brats. "No music, no buy" yet you got 23 new songs in less than a year, and 55 new tracks if you count demos, remixes, covers, b-sides, etc. The fact that you even want more when you have no idea what's planned for next year is giving major “child role-playing as an adult” vibes. Just admit that you care about the CD, not the content of Annually or what Neil and Chris have to say about the album or the era. Just say you want it so you can keep it nice and wrapped to resell it for double the price in a couple of years.![]()

While a CD would have been nice, I'd rather have Further listening releases of their Price trilogy next year. The first batch was released 5 years after the last one in the set originally came out, the same with the second batch, so a release next year is realistic.

Pretty near the top of my wish list too.slurmjunkie wrote:While a CD would have been nice, I'd rather have Further listening releases of their Price trilogy next year. Greetings,
Retro.
Exactly. For some reason I can't ascertain, Annually seems to be exclusive to the UK store, and the postage (and taxes in some regions) ends up being about as much, if not more than the book itself. I can justify $AUD 80-100 or so when there's a CD included, but when it's just words and pictures, and the most essential "news" is going to filter its way through to the forum, it's another one I'm "letting go through to the keeper". It's quite a simple decision for me each year. If they really want me to fork out for it, they know what to do.drunk14 wrote: Thu 19 Dec 2024, 12:39 pm I think the shipment cost is the bigger problem than the content....

As a lover of (hoarding?) books, writing and PSB-related whimsy and being an absolutely rubbish muso these days, I'm in, CD or no, as has been mentioned, the Ambassadors have been truly spoiling us this year. Pass the Ferrero Rocher pyramid.

Just ordered Annually! I guess I must be a completist
I love reading them, plus revisiting previous years including my Literallys!

Re: Annually 2025
I have to say I enjoyed most of the exclusive CDs that were released in tandem with “Annually.” Now that they’re back on Parlophone I’m afraid these are likely over with. It’s a shame as the bonus CD was a good place to release things which might have been more for die-hard fans. I was hoping for instance for the demos left off the Nonetheless expanded edition and the recent single, namely the ones for “Adrenaline” and “The dark end of the street.” Or I’m always hoping for a CD single of “Burning the heather.”

Here you go, m'dear. Love the fancy wrappers on them this year. Send the Baileys back this way while you're at it, will ya?
Just ordered my copy too because I'm still new and dumb enough to see these books as a repeated source of joy and entertainment rather than an investment. But yikes, the shipping!
SO YEAH, I WILL BE TAKING THE PLASTIC WRAP OFF. But then I rewrap them in a protective cover so I don't get my sticky fingers all over them.

My friend in Germany used to make/send homemade Bailey's, which was great until the eggs separated

Re: Annually 2025
One potential reason for no CD, is that there are other releases planned. There was no CD I believe in the year Purple Zone was released.
