Awful. The last part sounds like 3 or 4 songs banging along at the same time. Worse than their remix of Fat Les (if that's possible). I'm surprised they remixed Primal Scream to be honest - mediocre band who have slagged of PSB in the past. They're one of those bland indie/rock bands who turn to dance producers to churn out anything decent - Weatherall, The Orb, Chemical Brothers, David Holmes etc..

I actually hope a Disco 5 wouldn't be a retread of Disco 4.

PSB remixes of other artists are of varying degrees of quality these days and starting to become something I am no longer particularly interested in.

Back in the day when they could turn Hallo Spaceboy into something special (and I love the album version btw), or level up Girls and Boys, it was a different matter. Disco 4 was a good example of some of those gems, but just feel like that would be a bit of a tired format now.

If they were going to do it, I think I'd want to see ALL their remix efforts for other bands in one place, rather than something pieced together for a single (or even double) album. And don't call it Disco anything...

I wish they would ditch the snare drum rolls now though.
Agreed. It’s a common feature in too many of their recent remixes for other artists. x

Yeah, I've heard better. Listening to the original track, it's a weird one to remix I guess.
It gets better on repeated listening, it has some nice instrumental melodies.

"I wish they would ditch the snare drum rolls now though".
They steadfastly refuse to move on from these drums rolls. Is it a deliberate thing to make it sound 'very PSB' or have they not listened to any drum sounds from this century? (I know they have so I'm confused)
