When I bought Montage on dvd (2003 probably) I copied the audio across to minidisc as I loved some of the arrangements especially West End girls and Only the wind, the latter of which deserves a proper release one day it's that good. Fingers crossed some of these tracks are or that we get a cd/Blu-ray of Montage.

Lovely, thanks. Loved the versions on that tour. The mix sounds a bit odd, presumably that’s part of whatever process they used to boost the vocals. Well worth a listen though.

Interesting they were presumably planning to use the Pink Noise mix of Se a vida e. I love the new synth line after the middle eight.

Also interesting that Opportunities originally had a Pink Floyd section in it. Maybe they couldn't think of anything to do on stage during that bit.

The Opportunities mix has the opening bit that appeared at the start of the mix that ended the Tetris film.

Some of those demos seem to have the vocals from the album versions. Maybe those aren't original demos?

Maybe it's that when the live arrangements were being produced, they use the original studio vocals to save having to record guide vocals - effectively making them remixes at that point in the planning process.

Wonder if they were given to choreographers, stage and lighting designers to plan/rehearse what would happen on stage before main rehearsals start with Neil and Chris.

That’s a reasonable explanation. In this particular case, I’m quite sure that the arranger Pete Schwarz wrote in some mailing list or forum or newsgroup back then that he received multitracks from psb to sample sounds and parts from, I would guess that these recordings are his demos that he sent to PSB. That said, on at least some of the tracks I suspect that someone has added more vocals at a later stage.
