Other Robbie / PSB crossovers:

No Regrets (Neil sings backing vocals on this Robbie track, as does Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy)
There Are Bad Times Just Around The Corner (Neil, Pete Gleadall and Tom Stephan “produced and played” this track from Neil’s Noel Coward tribute album Twentieth Century Blues)
Close My Eyes (this remix of Robbie’s version of We’re The Pet Shop Boys was released as a single under this name and credited to Sander Van Doorm vs Robbie Williams. Neil and Chris are credited as producers, together with Chris Zippel).
Woof.

Few people would be able to sing PSB songs so well. Robbie does it really well, especially Jealousy suits him.

“And I should have gone to the studio to the mix because Neil Tennant did and got himself turned up and you can barely hear me!” 😄

It's so true, though! Other than the slightly louder bit where he goes "Goodbye!", there's just a vaguely audible baritone voice underneath the chorus - Neil clearly had his finger on the "Backing vox - Neil T" fader... 😀

Great song, though, and to be fair, the harpsichord part is distinctly Divine Comedy, so maybe he won that one...

Yes, I listen to RW these days, getting slowly ready to see him in July for first time :)
So I fell in love with No Regrets, they sound perfect here together with Neil...somebody was asking if Neil contributed to lyrics maybe too...?

No Regrets is excellent. My two favorite Neils.

I'm not his biggest fan on the planet (preferred East 17 at the time) but it's a better use of his talents than cat food ads.

I always thought other Neil only sang the "goooooooodbyeeeeeee" on No Regrets, perhaps he really should have gone in to turn himself up.
