I finally saw Kylie live on her Tension Tour at the O2 on May 26th, a lifetime bucket list done! The concert was brilliant...a non stop stomp through her newer albums and GHs

I've been lucky to see PSB on the Nightlife (Usa) and Super Tour (Singapore)

So really no more desire to fly overseas to see my fave acts, unless they choose to visit India

This week Kylie has shown how a legacy act, should promote a single. There’s been two prime time tv appearances, non stop radio appearance, different versions of the song released most days, the official video released midweek, and she’s been all over social media. All this has just kept people interested , and helped push the song to number 1, I said the same when Padam Padam was a surprise hit, her marketing team have played a blinder.

You keep forgetting the main component, massive support from one of the worst companies in the world which gave her massive streaming support that tipped the scale some 70% in her favor. This was far from an “organic” hit. This time around it just has a face we like.

I know, but it gives hope to all the legacy acts who simply don't have enough streaming fans.

While legacy acts can still go top 5 in the album charts (like PSB) the singles charts is a diff deal and maybe there are lessons from team Kylie that they can take?

I know Xmas is like YMCA, but it was a darn cheesy yet catchy bop.
