Well, this is interesting! This morning I received a copyright infringement notice for my version on YouTube from BFI. Back in 2020 I synced the soundtrack (reedited to sync properly) to the DVD. Then decided to try and get it to sync with a newer, restored HD blu ray. That took a lot of work because the new HD transfer included additional footage not in the copy the Boys used, plus I needed to speed up or slow down parts of the film so everything matched.

I'm really curious to see what this official version will be like. Did they remaster the original version the Boys used? Or did they take the existing HD restoration and edit it back down, or do what I did and modify the score to match?

The CD had to be trimmed, obviously, it's limited in length to 79 minutes, unlike the film which is slightly longer.

That means there'll be a longer version of the album to rip from the Blu-ray then! Although I'd imagine there are still some silent sections in the actual film?

As long as fans boycot these monopoly artist stores and buy local then artists will stop using them too. But many hardcore fans of the boomer and X generations have money to burn and are completists, so they pay whatever must be paid.

I for sure will not pay this amount for the movie that I will probably watch once, as much as I like the soundtrack.

I have also stopped ordering Annually issues for the same reason.

I wouldn't buy from OS but for the fact these aren't being sold outside the EU. For North American fans your shipping charges will be a lot irrespective. Amazon would likely be no better (and based on recent posts dont always guarantee a purchase), so I'm sticking with the UK store for now.

Did people pay attention to the NB for the bluray on the OS?

NB the Blu-Ray is Region Code 2

This means that the bluray can only be played in UK/Europe and Australia/NZ (and btw region 2 is a DVD coding, region B would be the correct bluray region code, again an illustration of the OS incompetence)

So the bluray won't even play in the US/Canada unless you have a bluray region free player which not many people have as this requires a hardware modification.

Blu-ray Disc™ media have region codes written in letters to indicate a particular zone or region where you can play the discs. Check the following region codes below :

Region A: North America, South America, U.S. Territories, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia
Region B: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.
Region C: Asia (except for Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia)
Region ABC : Classified as region-free as it applies to countries listed in Regions A, B, and C.
The region code for Blu-ray Discs is on the disc or located at the back of the disc case.

But since it's region coded and a BFI product, it will not be sold outside the UK for sure.
