Still have my War of the Worlds Amsterdam concert CD set which they burned right after the concert. CD1 was done already, CD2 you had to wait for. CD3 had some nice photos of the concert.

Considering the aeral photo from their latest concert in Belgium, imagine the casual listeners there leaving with the qr code linking to their latest album: what an easy way to gain streams, just put it on a video screen and it''s 100 % profit.

I ran my idea with ChatGpt about further options:

I think a QR code on a nicely designed postcard with a unique image of the duo is a great idea. It could also link to a playlist of the setlist so casual festivalgoers who might not be familiar with all the songs could start a deep dive.

Peter Gabriel did a similar thing on his back2front tour but it was released afterwards later not at the concert. A nice memento of the Toronto concert for me.

They can’t get t shirts and other merchandise at some of there shows , never mind CDS , went to the Tenerife and Gran Canaria shows few years back , and they had nothing for sale , no explanation nothing , must of lost out in a lot of euros ,

Nothing from Nonetheless in Belgium the other night.

Cardiff was great last week, the show has lost no energy IMO. Plenty of casual fans and people seeing them for the first time (some having waited many years) and people who travelled from as far as Japan, Chile, the USA (Hello petshopgrrl!) and (French) Canada.

Lots of people on social media shocked/surprised/disappointed that GW isn't on the set list.

The reception was very warm and I can see why they are continuing in this vein.

Hello Vintage Youth! It was lovely to see you again too! Thanks for dragging the thread back on track again.

Fantastic show again - that two hours went by in a flash and you're dead right about the energy. It was just joyful from start to finish. It was a warm, sunny evening, in stark contrast to the absolute MONSOON that opened up as soon as I stepped off the coach that afternoon! Venue was fantastic - great setting, very well organized and didn't feel crushed for 9000+ attendance. I didn't miss Go West, to be honest, and Pop Kids was a fun substitute. And it was great to be able to meet other fans and fangirl about the show afterwards!

I posted a couple of photos on Instagram, and a reel including the delightful moment where Neil forgot what Chris does in the Pet Shop Boys (although, to be fair, he does do that a bit too).

That was my fourth Dreamworld show and hopefully not the last - same again next year, lads?

Been browsing the Swedish newspapers after PSB concert on the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg. Nothing but rave reviews praising PSB longevity, uniqueness and beautiful songs. I believe gp.se stated that all other 80's acts might as well return to sleep.

True. Someone wondered why they were on the second biggest stage considering the large crowd. The whole festival had a record number of visitors. Go west missing from the setlist also was also noted.
